To say that the first stage (Online Closed Qualifier) for the BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 1 event has been a bit crazy and filled with surprises might be an understatement. Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports fans watched on as Team Falcons' superteam debut with Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač fell flat, and FaZe Clan was sent packing by underdog paiN Gaming.

BLAST Bounty S1 Finals Viewer's Guide

The BLAST Bounty Season 1 Finals is a LAN event at the BLAST Studios in Copenhagen. Teams will compete from 23 to 26 January 2025 for their share of the $500,000 prize pool. I expect a massive crowd.

The quarterfinal matchups will take place on 23 and 24 January 2025, followed by both Semifinal matches on 25 January and the grand finale on 26 January.

The format is a single-elimination bracket. The Grand Final is BO5, and the rest of the matches are BO3.

Teams Competing

Eight teams have made their way through the online closed qualifier to compete in the main event. These teams are:

• G2 Esports
• Team Vitality
• BetBoom Team
• paiN Gaming
• Eternal Fire
• NAVI
• Team Spirit
• HEROIC

I predict that Team Vitality will win this one, especially with Robin "⁠ropz⁠" Kool acclimating so well to his new squad.
