3DMAX & The MongolZ Advance To Semi-final In Skyesports Championship 2024

Skyesports Championship 2024 playoffs have kicked off and after an intense day of quarter-finals, the four semi-finalists have been decided. The MongolZ were up against AMKAL and on the other hand, it was an intense battle between 3DMAX and ENCE. 

The MongolZ were looking pretty confident, even though their qualification to the playoffs wasn't very smooth. The first map Dust2 was an easy win for them as they dominated the opponents from the beginning, letting them put 8-4 on the board. The story was the same in the second half as The MongolZ closed the map by 13-7.

On the contrary side, the team was getting thrashed by AMKAL on Mirage, as AMKAL were up 10-3 and the series ideally should have gone to the decided map. However, The MongolZ had a miracle comeback as they won three rounds back to back in second half after the pistol.

AMKAL secured the next round but weren't able to reach even the map point before The MongolZ won the map by 13-11 and the series by 2-0. They will now be fighting Aurora in semi-final for a spot in Grand Final.

3DMAX vs ENCE followed almost the same script. After a close first half on Dust2, 3DMAX didn't let ENCE win even a single round in the second half to register a one sided win on the map by 13-5. Ancient, on the other hand, was a roller coaster of emotions. 

ENCE started off with a dominance performance as they won three rounds back to back, but the opponents took away the lead by winning the next four. The game went ENCE's way once again as they put 6-4 on the board, but 3DMAX were able to balance it to close the first half at 6-6. 

Continuing a similar pattern, the game reached 10-10, but from there 3DMAX gained an unstoppable momentum as they put 12-11 on the board. In the final round ENCE almost pulled of a 1v3 clutch but felt a bit short and 3DMAX won a thrilling map by 13-11 and the series by 2-0. You will witness them in action against Eternal Fire who haven't lost even a single series yet in the whole tournament.
