Infinity Ward has released a new update for Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Warzone. While this is not the anticipated mid-season update, it does bring new playlists to both titles. Further, there's a Gaz Operator Bundle now available to purchase from the in-game store.
Modern Warfare playlist update
The new Modern Warfare update brings in a few new multiplayer modes for players to enjoy. All or Nothing is like a free-for-all, but players start off with the bare minimum, needing to scavenge the map for supplies.
Then, there's Stir-Crazy, a 10v10 mode which throws four extra players per side into maps created for 3v3, causing all kinds of chaos. Lastly, there's Face Off, which combines the Gunfight game mode with others such as Domination, throwing players into small maps.
Check out the new Modern Warfare playlist update below:
- Boots on the Ground Ground War
- Blueprint Gunfight
- Realism Mosh Pit
- All or Nothing
- Face Off
- Stir-Crazy (10v10 Mosh Pit)
Infinity Ward has also made some adjustments in another small Warzone and Modern Warfare update, which went live on 24th June at roughly 10:00 UK time.
A quick playlist update is now live across all platforms to adjust the following:
— Infinity Ward (@InfinityWard) June 24, 2020
• Removing uncommon and rare burst fire versions of the M4 assault rifle in #Warzone loot
• Allowing parties into the All or Nothing playlist in #ModernWarfare
In short, there's a whole lot of new things for Modern Warfare players to experience, and Warzone players aren't left behind either.
Warzone playlist update
In the Warzone playlist update, Quads returns to Battle Royale as well as Plunder game modes, so grab three friends and jump into the action. Plunder Quads replaces Blood Money, while Battle Royale Quads replaces Realism Battle Royale.
