While Supercell recently shared the exciting Clan Wars 2.0 update first details, this mammoth update is only coming in August. Today, 6th July, marks the start of Clash Royale Season 13: Beach Battle. We've got all the details in one place, including the Clash Royale Season 13 start time, balance changes, and new modes coming to the game.
Clash Royale Season 13 start time
The start time for Clash Royale Season 13 is 11:00 UK time, on 6th July 2020. Set those alarms and expect to download an update.
There will be a new Pass Royale, the content of which has not been revealed just yet, as well as several balance changes, and a couple of new modes for Clashers to enjoy.

Clash Royale Season 13 balance changes
Many Clashers will be excited to know Supercell has finally decided to nerf the Firecracker unit, which has been a bit overpowered in the meta as of late.
We also see a nerf to Skeleton Dragons, which released last season, as well as a buff to the Fisherman. Lastly, Zappies have gotten a rework.
Fisherman:
- Anchor Charge Up Speed: 1.5 seconds to 1.3 seconds (decreased by 13%)
- Hit Speed: 1.5 seconds to 1.3 seconds (decreased by 13%)
- DPS: 105 to 123 (increased by 15%)
Zappies:
- Damage: 84 to 96 (increased by 14%)
- Hit Speed: 2 seconds to 2.1 seconds (decreased by 5%)
- DPS: 42 to 46 (increased by 9%)
Skeleton Dragons:
- Damage: 142 to 133 (decreased by 6%)
Firecracker:
- Pushback Distance: 2.0 to 1.5 (decreased by 25%)

The Clash Royale Season 13 balance changes will go live one day after the release of the new season, on 7th July 2020.
Clash Royale Season 13 new modes
Players will be able to enjoy two new modes in Clash Royale Season 13.
The Floor Is Healing.
- Every troop and tower heals automatically!
- No buildings.
- Locked-create-a-deck mode.
Stop The Giant!
- Locked-Create-a-deck mode with 1 Giant.
- Giant is raged, super-powered and OP.
Lastly, there will be some new classic decks to enjoy, and the Ice Wizard will be the boosted card for Season 13.
