When does COD Vanguard Season 1 start?

Call of Duty: Vanguard releases on 5th November 2021 for PC and consoles. The highly-anticipated title in the iconic FPS franchise has a tonne of content at launch, from an exciting campaign to zombies, 20 multiplayer maps and new modes for players to experience. While that should be enough to satisfy fans for quite some time, there is no doubt many players are wondering when COD Vanguard Season 1 will release, ushering in the game's first battle pass which will undoubtedly be filled with shiny cosmetics to acquire. 

COD Vanguard Season 1 release date

Despite all the content available at the release of COD Vanguard, some players are eager to learn when Season 1 will get unleashed. 

COD Vanguard Season 1 will introduce the game's first battle pass, alongside Warzone Pacific Season 1, which is an exciting prospect, to say the least.

We will just rip off the bandaid right now. COD Vanguard Season 1 has a release date of 2nd December 2021.

Players should, therefore, consider the launch of COD Vanguard somewhat of a pre-season affair. Check out the content roadmap for COD Vanguard as well as Warzone below.

As outlined in the content roadmap, before COD Vanguard Season 1 releases, players will get the remastered Shipment map as a free update.

We also expect some weapon balance changes before COD Vanguard Season 1 releases, as there is simply no way everything will be perfectly balanced at launch.

Call of Duty players eager for Vanguard Season 1's release will have to wait patiently. The wait should be relatively painless, as Vanguard has a whole lot of content at launch, from over a dozen multiplayer maps, a variety of game modes, zombies and more.
