How to unlock KG M40 in Warzone Pacific Season 2

The Call of Duty Warzone Pacific and Vanguard Season 2 update is filled to the brim with content, from new vehicles to map changes, a shiny new battle pass and much, much more. One of the most important aspects for many Warzone players is the new weapons. We've already covered how you can unlock the Whitley LMG in Warzone Pacific Season 2, and now, it's time to look at the new assault rifle.

In this guide, we will tell you exactly how to unlock the KG M40 AR at the start of Warzone Pacific and Vanguard Season 2.

How to unlock KG M40 AR in Warzone Pacific S2

Activision describes the KG M40 as a "Workhorse assault rifle, naturally steady and accurate."

If you want to unlock this "workhorse" assault rifle, then we've got you covered. It is, thankfully, very easy to unlock the KG M40 in Warzone Pacific Season 2.

The KG M40 AR can be unlocked via the free tiers of the Warzone Pacific and Vanguard Season 2 battle pass. Unlock it once you reach Tier 15  of the battle pass.

Don't forget that you can unlock the KG M40 AR faster by purchasing the battle pass bundle for 2,400 CP. This bundle provides players with, among other shiny rewards, 20 tier skips (25 on PlayStation). This will unlock the new assault rifle instantly.

KG M40 stats in Warzone & Vanguard

At the time of writing, there are no official stats details available for the KG M40 assault rifle. We do know, however, that it features the second highest damage per shot of all Vanguard assault rifles.

Activision has provided a description of the KG 40 AR in Warzone Pacific and Vanguard Season 2, giving us a taste of what we can expect on 14th February 2022: "Adopted across several Scandinavian armies during the war, and also the preferred weapon of Anna Drake, the KG M40 is a high-calibre fully automatic weapon that rivals the first three Assault Rifles unlocked in Vanguard."

"Boasting the second highest damage per shot in its category, a similar effective range to the NZ-41, and a fire rate above 600 RPM, this weapon can be a strong contender in mid-to long-distance engagements. Its strengths can be fully unlocked when an Operator can control its recoil, a mix of horizontal and vertical kicks like the Cooper Carbine, but with slightly better centring speed."
