It's a new year, and Twitch Rivals is kicking things off with the first Warzone Showdown tournament event to determine the top Warzone trios team at the start of 2022. Similarly to previous events, Call of Duty fans can look forward to high octane plays from their favourite streamers and content creators across Europe.
The Twitch Rivals Warzone Showdown EU will also feature a community qualifier, in which creators that were not invited may attempt to secure a spot in the main event and compete for a share of the $ 75,000 prize pool.
With that said, here's everything you need to know about the Warzone Showdown tournament, including the schedule, format, teams competing, prize pool distribution and how to watch the matches!
Twitch Rivals Warzone Showdown EU: Schedule and Format
The European Twitch Rivals Warzone Showdown is a Battle Royale Trios tournament and will run over 1-day on 25th January 2022 from 15:00 GMT | 17:00 GMT+2.
The event will also feature a community qualifier, where the top two teams will qualify for the main event. The format for the community qualifier and main events are the same.
The event will feature a private lobby, with scoring based upon kills and a multiplier applied based on a team's ultimate finish in that game. Teams will accumulate scores over several rounds, with the best cumulative score determining the overall winner.
Scoring Structure
The kill multiplier for placement is indicated below.
- 1st - 2.0x
- 2nd - 1.8x
- 3rd - 1.6x
- 4th to 10th - 1.5x
- 11th to 25th - 1.3x
- 1 point per kill

The list of teams competing in the Twitch Rivals Warzone Showdown has not been released yet. We will update this list once the brackets have been announced.

Twitch Rivals Warzone Showdown EU: Prizing
The main event of the Twitch Rivals Warzone Showdown EU will have a $75,000 prize pool, distributed as follows per team:
- 1st - $ 15,000
- 2nd - $ 12,000
- 3rd - $ 9,000
- 4th - $ 6,000
- 5th - $ 3,000
- 6th to 7th - $ 1,800
- 8th to 10th - $ 1,350
- 11th to 15th - $ 1,050
- 16th to 20th - $ 900
- 21st to 25th - $ 750
- 26th to 30th - $ 600
- 31st to 43rd - $ 450
To obtain the prize distribution per player, divide the team prize by three.
How to watch Twitch Rivals Warzone Showdown EU
The tournament will be broadcast live on the official Twitch Rivals channel.
In addition, content creators participating in the event will also be allowed to stream their points of view to their respective channels.
