Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 New Weapons

Here are all the new weapons and weapons platforms coming to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Season 1.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 continues the series' tradition of providing excellent fast-paced combat with improved visual fidelity and diligently crafted new game modes and maps.

Weapons have always been a highlight in Call of Duty games, and Modern Warfare 2 features over 51 weapons at launch, alongside an overhauled Gunsmith mode that allows players to customize every attribute of a gun.

With Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 launching on 16th November 2022, fans could expect more weapons to come to the game. That said, here are all the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 weapons we know of so far.

While Activision hasn't confirmed any Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 weapon, notable insider TheGhostOfHope has revealed three new weapon platforms that players can expect to unlock in the upcoming season.

They are:

Honey Badger (Chimera)
SIG MCX (M13B)
SIG MPX (Bas-P)

The new Weapon platform system means players have to progress a particular weapon tree to unlock similar weapon types and attachments in that platform. While three weapon platforms may seem a little less, players should know that there could be more weapons to unlock within these weapon platforms.

Thankfully, TheGhostOfHope's Tweet seems to confirm that these three won't be the only weapons coming to Modern Warfare 2 in Season 1.

For the time being, fans should wait for an official announcement from Activision, which shouldn't be too far.
