Modern Warfare 2 Patch Notes (November 4): Weapon Tuning, Performance Upgrades, and More

Modern Warfare 2 has been a massive success for Activision recently, and while the game has many strong features that have players hooked, such as the assortment of weapons and perks, there are also some issues the developers have been working on. These fixes come in the form of a surprise patch and if you want to know more, then keep reading.

Modern Warfare 2 November 3 update fixes Weapon Tuning

At launch, the unique Gunsmith Weapon Tuning feature caused widespread lobby crashes across multiple platforms, forcing developers to temporarily remove it. However, it appears that the developers have resolved this issue, and we will see the return of the unique feature in the future.

The attachment tuning feature has just been reenabled. More details about this update in tomorrow’s blog post 🫡

This means that players can now further customize their load-outs and attachments, such as adjusting the ADS on a gun's Optic. If you haven't given this feature a chance, then we highly recommend it, as you can fine-tune your weapon to suit your play style and account for your weapon's drawbacks. 

Modern Warfare 2 Patch Notes On November 3

It's worth noting that the devs haven't fully revealed an official document listing the patch notes, but thanks to confirmation from the tweet above, it won't be long until we receive them. Once we do, please be sure to check back here as we will update the patch notes with the full run-down.

• Fixed crashing issues.
• Fixed frame rate drop issues.
• Addressed freezing issues.
• Added performance improvements.
• Added fixes for stuttering/lag issues.
• Other under-the-hood fixes.
