Call of Duty: Vanguard features an epic WWII era single-player campaign, zombies and 16 multiplayer maps at launch. The most thrilling aspect for most COD fans, however, is definitely all the weapons. As is tradition, there are also some fantastic camos to unlock in COD Vanguard for each weapon, from all the assault rifles to the SMGs, LMGs, shotguns, snipers and even pistols.
In COD Vanguard, players can unlock different camo types for their favourite weapons. There's Gold, Diamond and Atomic Mastery, with the latter being the hardest to unlock. If you want to know how the grind looks like to get to Atomic Mastery camo, then we've got you covered.
How to unlock Vanguard camos from Gold to Atomic Mastery
First up, this is going to be one huge grind. We expect players to take months to unlock Atomic Mastery, or even Diamond camos depending on their skill level.
It is important to note that camo via challenges, you will have to play multiplayer matches, as challenge progress does not happen in single-player.
Players will first need to unlock Gold camo for a specific weapon. To do this, for example, you will need to complete all 10 weapon camos for the STG44 assault rifle. These challenges range from using a specific attachment or getting a specific amount of kills with the weapon.
To unlock diamond camos for assault rifles, you will need to unlock gold for each of the seven weapons in the AR class.
That's already quite the grind, but to get the Atomic Mastery camo in COD Vanguard, players will have to unlock Diamond camo for each and every weapon class.
While this is a relatively straightforward affair, it is undoubtedly a grind, and it will be interesting to see how much time it takes for the first player to unlock Atomic Mastery in COD Vanguard.
The Atomic Mastery camo isn't just colourful and shiny, it also has an animated effect, making it by far the best-looking camo in all of COD Vanguard.
While a Gold camo for a specific weapon might not take too long to unlock in COD Vanguard, we expect players to grind for months on end to unlock the Atomic Mastery camo, and the Diamond variant really isn't a walk in the park either.
