The best Type 821 loadout for Black Ops Cold War

In Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the submachine gun category is fairly crowded. Between the popular AK74u and dominant MP5, there’s not a ton of room for other weapons in the class to shine. However, with the right attachments, the Type 821 can be an absolute machine on the battlefield. 

Obviously, this Mini-Uzi styled weapon was designed for close-quarters combat. So in order to be successful with it, you’ll likely need to use it on a map like Satellite where there are tight pathways all around. Of course, there are attachments you should use to maximize the effectiveness of the Type 821 in these situations. 

Best Type 821 loadout in Black Ops Cold War

It’s been argued that the Type 821 is the fastest-killing SMG in Black Ops Cold War multiplayer. While those claims are hard to prove, it falls short in the accuracy department when compared to the AK74u and MP5. However, that doesn’t really matter when you throw on a specific set of attachments designed to increase its range and accuracy while also maintaining its high damage. 

• Muzzle: Agency Suppressor 

• Barrel: 9.2” Paratrooper 

• Stock: Sprint Pad

• Magazine: 45 Round 

• Handle: Quickdraw Handle 

Overall, this loadout is designed for speed in close-quarters. The Sprint Pad Stock and Quickdraw Handle allow for better sprint-out times and ADS speed. This will truly help when you’re running around the map hunting down the enemy team. 

In regards to bumping up the range of the Type 821, the 9.2” Paratrooper takes care of that. While the Agency Suppressor decreases the damage range slightly, the Paratrooper more than makes up for it. This way, the Agency Suppressor can focus more on keeping you off the map and helping with vertical recoil control.

The last aspect of the loadout is the 45 Round Magazine. Since the Type 821 shoots fairly quickly, you’ll want some extra rounds in the mag to put down more than one enemy.
