COD: Black Ops Cold War - Best AK74u Loadout

As the Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Alpha continues for PS4 users, players are starting to discover not only the best weapons to get the job done but also the loadouts to get the most out of them.

Fans have quickly discovered that the AK74u with 8 attachments is a total beast. Normally, you can only run the weapon with 5 attachments, however, by equipping the Gunfighter Wild Card, you'll be able to add up to 3 extra attachments to your primary weapon.

YouTuber ItsNick showcased the weapon to its full potential.

Best AK74u Loadout in Black Ops Cold War

According to Paradoxx, this is what you want to run with your gun:

• Optic Quickdot Led
• Muzzle: Sound Suppresor
• Barrel: 9.5" Paratrooper
• Underbarrel: Foregrip
• Body: Steady Aim Laser
• Stock: Sprint Pad
• Magazine: 40 Rd Speed Mag
• Handle: MIKEForce Rear Grip

The optic choice stems from the game having very noticeable aim assist, aiding a bit more with accuracy due to its small reticle. The sound suppressor helps you fire without getting noticed in the mini-map, which is a sweet perk to have in hand.

As for the barrel, the boost in 100% to both Effective Damage Range and Muzzle Velocity far outweigh the 20% penalty to the Aiming Move Speed, as it allows the gun to be more effective at range, and for a bit more stability, the Foregrip helps with the loss in horizontal recoil control by adding a 10% increase.

If you choose to go for the Steady Aim Laser body, you'll get an increase of 20% in Hipfire Accusary with no penalty, making the best use out of the Gunfighter Wild Card.

The 40 Rd Speed Mag adds better reload speed, ammo capacity, starting ammo, and magazine size, which paired with the MIKE Force Rear Grip Handle, which give you extra aiming speed, make this gun a force to be reckoned with.
