Call Of Duty Vanguard & Warzone Season 5 - Release Date And Roadmap

Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Season 5 arrives with several new features, Operators, weapons, cosmetics, and more. In this regard,  players should prepare for a ride before moving on to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which launches on 28th October 2022.

Announced on 18th August 2022, Warzone and Vanguard Season 5 “Last Stand” will debut in the next few days. There’s a lot to unpack from its roadmap, especially considering it’s the last major season of the game, which will comprise most of the time until Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 releases. So let’s dive into Season 5’s release date and roadmap.

Call of Duty: Warzone & Vanguard Season 5 Roadmap

As the final season of Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard, Season 5 "Last Stand" will officially kick off on 24th August 2022. This season will be jam-packed with action, featuring new operators, weapons, in-game features, events, and new content for Vanguard: Zombies.

Both games will receive new weapons: EX1 (Energy Rifle), RA 225 (Submachine Gun), Valois Revolver, BP50, and Lienna 58 (Assault Rifles). Additionally, there will be new Operators to collect in Season 5. Those operators are Raul Menendez, Khaled Al-Asad, Gabriel T. Rorke, and He “Seraph” Zhen-Zhen. 

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 Roadmap

For Call of Duty: Warzone, Operation: Last Call takes front and center, with Caldera rupturing with ominous seismic activity. Near Caldera’s Peak, players must be wary of the flowing lava and the series of rumbles shaking beneath the ground. 

As a limited-time feature of Operation: Last Call, players can choose to defend Caldera or sabotage it by planting bombs at designated sites in the newest Search and Destroy mode.

New features will also provide opportunities to win games more efficiently, such as Rage Serum and Supply Box UAV.

Beyond this, a new seasonal event for the community will be called Heroes vs. Villains. Players can choose between both sides and collect tokens by performing specific feats during this event. In addition, there will be free cosmetics up for grabs for those completing tasks.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Season 5 Roadmap

On the other side, Call of Duty: Vanguard players can play on new maps titled Beheaded and Fortress. The Beheaded map takes players to a dystopian Times Square map in New York, while Fortress is located in the Mediterranean, surrounded by desert.

A new round-based mode called The Archon will make its way to Vanguard: Zombies in Season 5. From a cursed desert battlefield to the heart of the Dark Aether, players must pass Trials, confront the Construct, and defeat the Archon.

Treyarch will reveal more information about Main Quests, Tasks, and such as the season draws nearer. Season 5 of Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard officially debuts on 24th August 2022. Keep an eye out for more information on relevant details to quests, tasks, events, and more soon.
