Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 "Last Stand" brought a range of weapon balance changes, shaking up the gun meta in a big way. While there are many strong meta weapons, including the STG44, PPSh-41, Type 100, and UGM-8, some "sleeper" guns like the Type 100 light machine gun are often overlooked.

The buffed Type 11 is a competitive long-range weapon to use in Warzone Season 5, thanks to improved horizontal recoil control and reduced rate of fire penalty in the Sakura 487mm Shrouded Barrel attachment. Here's the best long-range meta loadout for the Type 11 in Warzone Season 5.

With this loadout, the Type 11 LMG has a similar TTK to the STG44 Assault Rifle over close- to mid-range combat, which it maintains consistently over longer ranges (40 meters +). In addition, the Type 11 boasts insane DPS that pales compared to other meta guns like the XM4 and Grau 5.56 in Warzone Season 5, offering superior recoil control with laser-beam aim.

The first core attachment for this Type 11 build is the Sakura 487mm Shrouded Barrel, which offers buffs to horizontal recoil control, bullet velocity, reduced scope sway and gun bob. More importantly, damage does not diminish over range with this attachment, making it particularly competitive for the long-range meta in Warzone Season 5.

Pair this with Hollow Point ammo to take advantage of the zero damage dropoff over range by hitting for additional limb damage. Next, equip the .55mm Sakura 90 Round Drums Magazine attachment. This mag offers additional ammunition capacity, giving the Type 11 its lethal DPS by lowering reload frequency and allowing players to unload bullets on enemies.

Then, the Shiraishi Custom Stock will improve the Type 11's aim walking speed and steadiness, ADS speed, and boosts accuracy for initial shots. This Stock will hamper recoil control during continuous firing, but you can pair it with Brace to enhance the accuracy of initial shots when firing. For the second Perk, you can choose either Fully Loaded or On-Hand.

The Hatched Grip Rear Grip attachment will improve the Type 11's recoil control and flinch resistance. Similarly, the M1930 Strife Angled will also buff horizontal recoil control. The G16 2.5x Optic is a solid choice and provides 2.5x magnification, better accuracy, and recoil control; however, feel free to choose an Optic with which you're most comfortable.

You can pair the Type 11 LMG with a PPSh 41 as a secondary weapon, using Serpentine, Overkill, and Combat Scout Perks to complete the build. Lastly, you can equip the EHV Throwing Knife and Snapshot Grenade for the Lethal and Tactical slots.
