Call of Duty: Vanguard has some broken and overpowered weapons at launch, but weapons don't appear to be the only aspect that could need a bit of a nerf. There are dozens of perks for players to choose from with three perk slots to complete your class setup of choice in COD Vanguard.

Using the Forward Intel perk, you can pre-aim an area where your opponents are coming from after spawning. Furthermore, it is almost impossible to get caught off-guard with spawns behind you, as they show up on the minimap.

Call of Duty expert, JGOD, recently released a video noting how the Forward Intel perk is more powerful than people initially thought in COD Vanguard, calling for players to change their class setup.

• Perk slot 1 - Ghost: While moving, you are undetectable by Spy Planes, enemy Intel, and Field Mics. Reduces the effectiveness of Local Informants.
• Perk slot 2 - Forward Intel: See indicators for enemy reinforcements on your minimap. Minimap shows a larger area.
• Perk Slot 3 - Lightweight: Movement speed is increased.

This perk setup for COD Vanguard is all about movement, detection, and knowing exactly where your enemies are at all times.

Alternatively, the third perk slot can be changed to Overkill, which allows players to carry a second primary weapon.

The Lightweight / Ghost combo, however, is recommended so you can absolutely own the map, and reposition with ease after pinpointing enemy reinforcements spawning behind you.
