The Call of Duty (COD) Vanguard beta boasts a slew of interesting content, including new maps, perks, killstreaks, equipment and exciting game modes for players to enjoy. In addition to this, there is an array of weapons to choose from. These weapons, like the Browning Automatic Rifle (better known as the "BAR"), stem from the World War 2 era and can be used to blow enemies into smithereens.
The BAR is somewhat of a hybrid cross between an assault rifle and a light machine gun and was first used by American forces during World War 2. The BAR demonstrates incredible damage potential but is held back by its slow firing rate. Although the BAR is a B-Tier assault rifle, it must not be underestimated. Here's the best BAR gunsmith class setup to unlock its full potential in COD Vanguard beta.
Best BAR gunsmith loadout for COD Vanguard beta
Sadly there's not much you can do to bolster the BAR's slow fire rate. The attachments listed below will rather boost the BAR's damage output and address other weak elements of this weapon, namely its poor recoil control.
Here's the best gunsmith loadout for the BAR for COD Vanguard beta:
- Muzzle: G2 Compensator
- Barrel: Chariot 18″ Rapid
- Optic: Zeiss G16 2.5x
- Ammo Type: Subsonic
- Rear Grip: Rubber Grip
- Proficiency: Sleight of Hand
- Kit: Defender
Suppressors work a bit differently in COD Vanguard and will not conceal players from opponents on the mini-map. Instead, these attachments, much like the G2 Compensator or the A2 Flash Hider, are to be used for recoil control and sound suppression.
The Subsonic ammo type can instead be used for concealment and will confer the following benefits: no minimap ping, no enemy skulls and firing visibility to enemies. This is essential against players using the Radar Perk, which pings enemy shots on the minimap.
The Zeiss G16 2.5x is a medium sight optic and will provide additional zoom level, accuracy and recoil control, albeit at the expense of ADS speed. The Rubber Grip Rear Grip attachment will further bolster recoil control.
Finally, the Sleight of HandProficiency attachment will boost reload quickness, whilst the Defender Kit will buff mounted movement and use times.
And there you have it, the best BAR loadout for COD Vanguard beta. You will soon see for yourself why this gun is god-tier, especially if you decide to use this build.
