Atlanta FaZe Warzone Pacific Pursuit: Schedule, prize pool, teams, more

We believe it is very clear that the Atlanta Faze roster will enjoy a fantastic holiday season after claiming the Call of Duty League Championship back in August with an impressive win over the Toronto Ultra squad just a year after just falling short versus Dallas Empire.

The offseason is fully on as aBeZy and company will have some time to enjoy the festivities with the family and…maybe squeeze a quick tournament in the middle?

The Atlanta Esports Venture branch has partnered with FaZe Clan to announce a tournament, called Warzone Pacific Pursuit held this month to celebrate the launch of Warzone Pacific.

Warzone Pacific Pursuit 100k tournament - Schedule

As you may already know, Call of Duty: Warzone is in the midst of a transitional period as the merging with Vanguard will create Warzone Pacific, saying goodbye to Verdansk in favour of Caldera.

The new Pacific-themed locale will be replacing the well-loved as the franchise main map and it will be hosting its first competitive clash just days after debuting.

So far, the only thing we know about scheduling is that the tournament will take place between Monday, 13th December and Tuesday, 14th December but no timetable has been released yet.

Pacific Pursuit prize pool

The $100K Pacific Pursuit will be the first tournament organized by FaZe Clan on this new map and I think it is kinda obvious by the name of the tournament the appealing cash prize that awaits the participants.

Nonetheless, it is also yet to be revealed if those 100,000 US dollars will be awarded solely to the winning squad or if it is just the total bag that will be divided among the top teams.

It will be surprising if the reigning champions won’t make at least an appearance but that is also yet to be confirmed.

We don't really know much about the event yet but on the announcing tweet, they confirmed that more information will be released soon and with that, we believe they mean in the next day or so.

How to watch the Warzone Pacific Pursuit

Here is where we figured this was going to be a big event for the COD community as the tournament will be streamed through the franchise official Twitch channel and we also believe that Atlanta FaZe would do a pre-show or side stream of some sort.

We will keep you posted as soon as they release more information about this tournament but be certain that is an event that you would not like to miss even if you will only be a spectator.
