After a lot of rumours and leaks, Treyarch has officially revealed new Zombies map for Black Ops Cold War: Firebase Z.
Leaks about Firebase Z started appearing even before Black Ops Cold War got released, and the leaks were later confirmed again by prominent data miners.
But, those leaks were suggesting that the new map will come at a later date, sometime around Season 2, which will not be the case.
Instead, Treyarch has announced that the new Zombies map will arrive much sooner than we've previously thought - Firebase Z will arrive during Season One, on 4th February, and it will be completely free for all players who own the game.

The new map will be a continuation of the Dark Aether story, also known as the Dimension of Death, which is a major storyline within Zombies mode in Black Ops Cold War.
"With the destruction of the WWII-era “Projekt Endstation” site after investigating the otherworldly Dark Aether anomaly in Poland, Requiem now sets its focus on the latest Dark Aether outbreak site: Outpost 25, known by the code name “Firebase Z.”
Treyarch didn't release any more details about the map, but according to leaks, the new map will be set in the Vietnamese jungle.
New details about the map are expected to be released tomorrow(15th January).
To celebrate the reveal of Firebase Z, Treyarch is launching the Zombies Free Access Week, along with the new Cranked mode, Onslaught Raid, and support for the new Wakizashi sword in Zombies.
The Zombies Free Access Week will run from 14th January to 21st January.
