The content offerings in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies are undeniably vast, featuring various weapons, perks, Gobblegums, abilities, and more. However, longtime fans of the series are eager for the return of classic features in this latest installment. One of the most requested additions is the revival of the iconic Double Tap perk.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Players Want The Double-Tap Root Beer Perk to Return to Zombies

With Citadelle Des Morts arriving in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Zombies mode is set to introduce exciting new content, including a fresh Ammo Mod, Field Upgrade, Perk-a-Cola, and a new Wonder Weapon. However, long-time fans are hoping for the return of the iconic Double Tap Root Beer perk, known for its game-changing effects in previous installments.

Originally, Double Tap increased a weapon’s rate of fire by 33%, improving overall weapon speed and efficiency, especially with bolt- and pump-action weapons. The upgraded Double Tap 2.0 doubled bullet damage, making it a must-have in later rounds for increased firepower and faster equipment use.

While there’s no official word on Double Tap’s return, players have spotted potential clues. In the Mastercraft: Ideal Tracer Pack bundle, a shotgun blueprint features a Juggernog can as its muzzle, with a reference to Double Tap on the weapon’s forearm. Additionally, the Operator skin for Weaver includes Perk-a-Cola vials, and while Double Tap isn’t one of them, the Perk’s logo can be seen hanging from his keychain.
