With the launch of Black Ops 6 Season 1 comes the return of Ranked Play, allowing players to put their skills to the test against some of the world's hungriest players. To access the game's Ranked more, you'll need to have first earned 50 Wins in Matchmade Multiplayer.
While most are looking forward to earning SR (Skill Rating) and working through the Ranks, some are already looking to curate their own custom Ranked experience.
Can You Turn Off Ranked in CoD: Black Ops 6?
At the time of writing, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Ranked has yet to launch and is set to arrive on November 21. However, certain in-game assets have already revealed that it won't be possible to turn off Cross Play in Ranked, according to CharlieIntel.
Across all platforms, Cross Play will be a requirement in order to access Ranked. Naturally, there are some players who are more upset by this decision than others. Namely, console players might feel that they've been put at a disadvantage against PC players, especially if it puts them in the firing line of hackers.
In previous Call of Duty entries, it was possible to turn off Cross Play, allowing console players some refuge from not only the aim of PC players, but potentially hackers and cheaters.
It's worth noting that this information comes from leaked in-game assets, with the Cross Play setting permanently enabled and greyed out. It's unclear whether this will change once Ranked Play launches on November 21.
