The arrival of Citadelle des Morts has been a hit with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies players, and with it comes a brand new Wonder Weapon - the Bastard Sword. Getting your hands on the sword and unlocking its elemental upgrades can be tricky for new players.

How to Get the Bastard Sword Wonder Weapon in BLOPS6

To get the Bastard Sword in Citadelle des Morts, players need to reach Round 10, where they will encounter special knight zombies. These zombies, identifiable by their knight helmets, are immune to headshots but can be taken down like regular zombies. Upon defeating them, they drop a Stamp, which can be collected by interacting with it.

Next, head to the Dining Hall where you’ll find four statues, each holding a sword and representing different animals: Lion, Dragon, Stag, and Raven. Each statue offers a unique upgrade for the Bastard Sword based on the animal it represents. To claim the sword, simply approach any statue while holding a Stamp and interact with it.

Once acquired, the Bastard Sword replaces your Dedicated Melee Weapon, letting you carry it alongside two regular weapons. It offers abilities like Parrying to reflect damage and return projectiles. You'll then need to find three burning pyres. The first is in the Ramparts above the Courtyard, the second is in the Hilltop area near spawn, and the third is in the spawn area next to the Rampage Inducer. Carrying the pyres will deal damage, so grab Juggernog to survive.

Once all three pyres are in the dragon statue, you can pull out Caliburn. This sword deals fire damage, and its special attack launches explosive fireballs, which act like cannonballs.

How to Get Durendal (The Lightning Sword Wonder Weapon)

Durendal, the Lightning Sword, starts with the Stag Sword from the front left statue. To upgrade it, you’ll need three Lightning Rods. The first is in the Hilltop area near Deadshot Daiquiri.

The second requires a Shock Charge or Dead Wire Ammo Mod to shoot an electric box in the Upper Village, and the third is dropped randomly by a zombie with the rod in its ribcage.

With all three rods, head to the Courtyard and use the urn in the Hillside Ramparts. Place the rods into the urn, then kill zombies with the Stag Sword to charge it with lightning. When lightning strikes, melee the urn three times. Afterward, interact with the urn to claim Durendal, a lightning-infused sword that can chain attacks to multiple enemies.

How to Get Solais (The Light Sword Wonder Weapon)

To get Solais, the Light Sword, begin by picking up the Lion Sword from the back right knight statue. Four Parasites will spawn, and you need to lead them to the Upper Village and kill them with the Lion Sword. Each kill will imbue the sword with a golden glow.

After imbueing the sword, interact with the wooden door with a lion knocker. This will reveal a symbol, and you must repeat this for the four Parasites, each time revealing a different symbol. Once all four symbols are unlocked, place the sword into a stone in the center of a room, and you’ll need to shoot the corresponding symbols within 60 seconds.

Complete the puzzle, and the zombies will explode, leaving you with the Solais sword, which offers armor on kills and a brief protective aura when fully charged.

How to Get Balmung (The Void Sword Wonder Weapon)

To unlock Balmung, start by obtaining the Crow Sword from the back left statue. Take it to the Alchemical Lab, where you'll find an Antiquity bone on the shelves. Bring the bone and the Crow Sword to the Tavern Cellar.

Interact with the dial in the Tavern Cellar and solve the puzzle by matching the symbols with the bone’s zodiac and elemental markings. Once solved, void orbs will spawn. Avoid them by leading them to void tears located in the Tavern Cellar, first floor, and second floor.

After filling the void tears, a void orb will return to the pedestal, infusing the Crow Sword with shadow powers. You’ll then have Balmung, a sword that creates a void tear to pull in and instantly kill zombies, though it has limited effectiveness on tougher enemies.
