To get the good ending, also called the Liberators of Rubicon ending, you'll need to make a few specific choices at certain points of the game. So here are the choices you need to make:
- Decline the offer during the Attack the Dam Complex mission (Chapter 1) – This applies when playing in NG+.
- Complete the Prevent Corporate Salvage of New Tech mission (Chapter 3) – This applies when playing in NG+.
- Destroy the Special Forces Craft in the Heavy Missile Launch Support mission (Chapter 3).
- Opt for ambushing the Vespers in the Underground Exploration – Depth 3 mission (Chapter 4).
- Eliminate "Cinder" Carla in the Take the Uninhabited Floating City mission (Chapter 5).
How To Get the Bad Ending (The Fires of Raven)
To attain the bad ending, referred to as The Fires of Raven ending, here are the choices you are required to make:
- Eliminate the Enforcement Squads in the Heavy Missile Launch Support mission (Chapter 3).
- Intercept the Redguns in the Underground Exploration – Depth 3 mission (Chapter 4).
- Intercept the Corporate Forces in the Take the Uninhabited Floating City mission (Chapter 5).
How To Get the True Ending (Alea Lacta Est)
To achieve the true ending, the Alea Lacta Est ending, you must be in your third playthrough, which corresponds to New Game++. In this playthrough, here are the choices you need to make:
- Agree during the Attack the Dam Complex mission (Chapter 1).
- Completed the Prevent Corporate Salvage of New Tech mission (Chapter 3).
- Eliminate the Enforcement Squads in the Heavy Missile Launch Support mission (Chapter 3).
- Complete the Coral Export Denial mission (Chapter 4).
- Accomplish the Eliminate V.III mission (Chapter 4).
- Successfully finish the Reach the Coral Convergence mission (Chapter 4) – in this playthrough, the objectives will differ.
Upon doing so, you will unlock these new missions for Chapter 5:

- Regain Control of the Xylem
