As the year draws to a close, ARK: Survival Ascended players know it’s time to gear up for the game’s annual Christmas event, Winter Wonderland. While the developers have remained tight-lipped about what to expect from this year’s festivities, we’ve gathered everything we know so far about the 2024 Winter Wonderland event.

ARK: Survival Ascended Winter Wonderland 2024 Release Date

As of now, there is no official launch date for this year’s Winter Wonderland event in ASA, but we can make an educated guess based on last year’s timeline. In 2023, the event started on December 21st and ran until January 7th, so we can expect a similar schedule for this year's event.

This would give the event a two-week duration, with the Extinction DLC launching on December 16th. Based on this, we can reasonably expect Winter Wonderland to begin around December 23rd. While we’re still waiting for an official announcement, it’s safe to mark your calendars for December 23rd and beyond.

ARK: Survival Ascended Winter Wonderland 2024 - Upcoming Content

While details about this year’s Winter Wonderland event in ARK: Survival Ascended are still under wraps, we can expect similar content to last year based on past events. Last year’s festivities featured boosted rates for harvesting, taming, experience, and breeding, along with special creatures like RaptorClaus and the Abominable Snowman.

Players could also ride reindeer and interact with the Pegomastax Grouch for special rewards. Event-specific chibis emotes and a variety of themed skins added to the holiday fun.
