Scorched Earth is the latest (and first) expansion pack for ARK Survival Ascended, introducing a host of novel creatures, with the standout being the Fasolasuchus. This dino serves as the flagship addition to the DLC, making it imperative to understand its capabilities now that it's available in-game.
In this guide, we'll dissect the abilities and practical applications of the Fasolasuchus once it's been tamed in ARK Survival Ascended Scorched Earth. Without further ado, let's delve right in.
ARK Survival Ascended Fasolasuchus Abilities And Uses | Scorched Earth
The Fasolasuchus sports quite a few interesting and unique abilities that can easily benefit you while playing on Scorched Earth once you have one tamed and under your control. Specifically, the dino excels as a flint collector, as well as a high-damage dealer that could shake up the meta of the game considering how strong it is.
Below are all of the Fasolasuchus abilities in ARK Survival Ascended Scorched Earth:
- Sand Swimming - The Fasolasuchus can dive into the sand and swim through it almost as though it were water. This drastically increases the movement speed of the Fasolasuchus, allowing you to traverse the map much faster or get the jump on enemies. While underground, the Fasolasuchus can also swim through rocks which harvests tons of Flint for you as well, and can easily get you over 100 Flint in seconds.
- Sand Leap - The Fasolasuchus can leap from the ground near or around enemies and deal damage as you exit the sand. This is also useful for surprise attacks on wild dinos.
- Acid Bite - The Fasolasuchus has a bite attack that deals quite a hefty amount of damage, and what makes it even more dangerous is the fact that when biting, the Fasolasuchus releases acid that shreds an enemy's armor, dealing more direct damage. The acid also inflicts temporary blindness making it quite the overpowered attack.
- Debris Whip - Finally, the Fasolasuchus can whip its tail forward and hurl any debris that's lying on the ground towards your enemies which makes it effective as a ranged attacker as well, and can even give you a chance to slip away into the sand if you're in a tough spot.
So there you have it, all of the abilities we currently know the Fasolasuchus has in ARK Survival Ascended Scorched Earth. This Tame is definitely worth having on your side for its varying abilities and strengths and will likely be one of the best dinos to use on Scorched Earth, so be sure to try one out as soon as you can.
