How To Craft Deinosuchus Saddle In Ark Survival Ascended

The newest addition to the ARK Survival Ascended roster of dinos is the oddly cute (or maybe that's just me) yet terrifying Deinosuchus. This large and bulky croc is a great addition to any player's group of tames for its aquatic capabilities and offensive abilities in close combat—if you can ride one, that is.

To do so, you'll need the saddle for this beast. Thankfully, getting your hands on one is fairly simple, but it can be unclear if you don't know where to start. So in this guide, we'll take you through the process of how you can craft a Deinosuchus saddle in ARK Survival Ascended.

Deinosuchus Crafting Materials In Ark Survival Ascended

The Deinosuchus saddle allows you to effectively ride your Deinosuchus once it has been tamed in the wild. If you haven't tamed one yet, check out our Deinosuchus taming guide. Once you're ready, all you'll need to craft the saddle are the following materials, as they can be crafted directly in your inventory without the need for any special crafting stations.

Deinosuchus Saddle Crafting Materials:

• 200 × Fiber
• 380 × Hide
• 50 × Metal Ingot or Scrap Metal Ingot

Once crafted, simply place the saddle on your Deinosuchus, and you'll be all set to take this powerful creature into battle or to swim around the Island or The Center, collecting resources and hunting down enemies. Both islands have an abundance of resources, making it quick to farm what you need for this saddle, making the Deinosuchus an effective "early game" tame.

We say "early game" because you'll need to be level 74 to unlock the Engram for crafting the saddle, and taming the Deinosuchus also requires a similar level. Once you reach around level 80, which is relatively low compared to the requirements for other Tames, you'll be ready to both tame and saddle up any Deinosuchus on either ARK of your choosing.
