Apex Legends 'Chaos Cup' Community Event Takes Over London on 7 June

Attention, Apex Legends esports fans! If you live in or close to London, there's an event you shouldn't miss out on. We are, of course, talking about the first in-person Apex Legends Community event in the UK, the Chaos Cup.

From organizer Biborg UK, Chaos Cup takes place as both a casual tournament (Team Deathmatch showdown) and an afterparty portion, where Apex Legends fans in the UK can meet likeminded individuals, enjoy the festivities, including gaming stations to play Apex Legends, food and drink, and a DJ (Mr. Redley). There's even a raffle, where some attendees will be called up to compete in Solo Battle Royale matches to win prizes.

While the Team Deathmatch showdown tournament registrations have already closed, you can join the afterparty running from 20:00 to midnight. Register for your free ticket via this Eventbrite page and head on over to the venue on 7 June 2024 at 20:00 for the afterparty.

The tournament organizer, via a Press Release, explains what the Chaos Cup is all about and how it differs from huge, pro esports events:

The Chaos Cup represents a special moment for the Apex Legends brand here in the UK. Unlike monumental events like ALGS, which have been IRL and cater to the higher-skilled echelons of Apex Legends Gamers, the Chaos Cup has been conceived and produced with the community in mind. Our aim is to celebrate the everyday player and provide a fun and open space for players to meet at the first IRL Apex community-led event in the UK.

Participants will team up with content creators such as BlackBoye, Caedrel, Melanin Gamers, Nati, Sweet Anita, The Gaming Merchant, ThatPunchkid, and Simply Ashton.
