With the introduction of the new Arenas game mode, the release of a Nintendo Switch port, and official confirmation of a brand new Apex Legends: Mobile game, Respawn Entertainment's take on the battle royale has never been in better health.
Currently, players are blasting their way through Season 9: Legacy, which introduced, among other things, the game's newest Legend, Valkyrie, the new Bocek Bow weapon, and the aforementioned Arenas game mode.

And with the dust now settling on the Season 9 content (and the overworked servers), it's a good time to look ahead to Season 10 and what could be in store for players on launch day.
We know there will be changes to the map (or even a brand new one), a new Legend, and some changes to weapons and Legends already in the game. Here is everything we know.
Apex Legends Season 10 - release date
An Apex Legends season usually runs for roughly three months, with Apex Legends Season 9 starting on 4th May. That means Season 9 should end on, or around, the 2nd of August.
There is little to no gap between seasons, so Apex Legends Season 10 should start on the 3rd of August.
New Legend - Pariah
Each new season of Apex Legends introduces a new Legend to the game, Season 9 saw Valkyrie join the fray, the highflying, rocket launcher carrying, Valk is definitely a more offensive Legend and it is likely that Season 10 will see something quite different join the roster.
That is why leaks that appeared before the launch of Season 7, giving a first look at Legend by the name of Pariah that boasts a number of information gathering abilities look a good bet for Season 10's Legend.
Images of Pariah have previously been unearthed by leakers and data miners. (Picture: Respawn Entertainment)
Pariah's abilities reportedly include a passive that lets her see opponents' health, sonar grenades that let them scout areas for enemies, and an ultimate that makes them immune to stuns.
Changes to Arenas
Apex Legends' newest permanent game mode, Arenas, drastically changes the way the game is played.
Gone is the last-man-standing battle royale mode played on huge amps, and in its place is hyper-competitive 3v3 round-based combat, on smaller maps, and with an economy system like that seen in CS:GO.

It is an obvious push to make Apex Legends more appealing to those that appreciate a truly competitive game but it lacks a few crucial things, namely a ranked mode.
Thankfully a ranked mode is definitely coming but when it does is not yet clear, the developers were vague when pinning down a date but it's possible that Season 10 could see the launch of such a system.
We'll keep you posted.
That's everything we know so far about Apex Legends Season 10, we will continue to update this page as more information becomes available.
