Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is the latest installment of the famed JRPG game series from Monolith Soft and Nintendo. The game, like its predecessors, boasts an expansive open world for players to explore and allows up to seven party members to engage in concomitant battle.
Moreover, its real-time battle system lets players seamlessly switch between characters mid-combat. So, it's understandable why many players wonder how to save their game progress in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Fortunately, saving is easy, with multiple options available to avoid accidentally losing all your hard-earned progress.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - How To Save Game
There are four ways to save your game in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, including manually saving the game and using Quick Save, Auto Save, or Rest Spots; each method is explained below.
The first (and most obvious) method is manually saving your game. To do this, open the menu, go to System, and select an available slot to save the game.

You can also save your game using the Quick Save function in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. To this, press X and then Y via the game menu. Besides these two methods, your progress will automatically save as you play Xenoblade Chronicles 3. The Auto Save feature will trigger at specific cut scenes or locations, such as Campsites.
However, because the game will only trigger Auto Save at specific in-game moments, it's best to ensure you remember to use at least one of the remaining three save functions before leaving the game.
Finally, you can save the game at Rest Spots in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. These vital locations are typically used for Fast Travel; you can find them throughout Aetia, Elgares, Fornis, Pentelas, and more. We'll endeavor to have a guide detailing all Rest Spot locations in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 soon.
And that's everything you need to know about saving your game in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
