'Wait and See': WWE 2K24's Bryan Williams on Create-A-Finisher, Confirms Unlockables

We're just over a week away from the launch of WWE 2K24, and every new look at gameplay footage is ramping up the anticipation. Now that the WWE 2K24 roster has been confirmed, additional details about several game modes are being revealed. We had the opportunity to speak to WWE 2K24 Gameplay Producer Bryan Williams to answer a few of the burning questions that remain for MyRISE, MyFACTION, and more.

WWE 2K24 Gameplay Producer Q&A Interview

Before the game goes live worldwide, WWE 2K24's Bryan Williams took the time to clear up any confusion around some of the new changes in this year's release. One of the most highly requested MyFACTION features is on the way, and Community Creations will grow once again.

GINX: Will MyRISE feature playable characters that are unlocked through MyRISE and can be played in other modes?

Bryan Williams: Yes! Expanded rewards, original MyRISE characters and unlockables carry over into other game modes, so you’ll want to play through both MyRISE experiences to get all the prizes.

Will MyFACTION exclusive alternate attires and versions of characters be unlockable to use in other parts of WWE 2K24?

We’ve introduced Persona Cards to MyFACTION, which allow players to carry over alternate attires and personas for select Superstars on the roster into other game modes. This is something the community has requested since MyFACTION debuted. We’re always listening!

Are there any plans to bring back Create-A-Finisher or add other creation types to the Creation Suite in the future?

Our goal each year is to improve upon our best work and add something that wasn’t there before. We know there’s an appetite for the return of Create-A-Finisher. You’ll just have to wait and see!

Will Create-A-Sign have Community Creations support for uploading and downloading designs, and will it allow custom uploaded logos and images to be used for created signs?

Yes, you can share your custom sign designs in Community Creations and that includes uploaded images and logos. Behave yourselves!

Will Create-A-Referee have Custom Render support?

Yes, if you make the custom referee as its own character. You can also create a Special Guest Referee version of any Create-A-Superstar as an alternate attire.

Can you use existing members of the WWE 2K24 roster in MyRISE?

No, the MyRISE concept revolves around creating your own, custom Superstar and forging your path to a Hall-of-Fame worthy career. Along the way, you’ll meet some familiar faces, as well as new allies and enemies.

Are there any current plans for post-launch feature improvements like we've seen with MyGM in the past?

Never say never. Right now, our focus is on launching the game. There will be some very cool DLC you won’t want to miss, and of course we’re always watching and listening to see if there’s room for post-launch improvements.

Are there any plans for seasonal content or post-launch content updates to MyRISE or MyGM in the way that MyFACTION will get themed content?

While MyRISE is a contained storyline and MyGM will already feature the WWE premium live events you can expect to see throughout the year, MyFACTION is the mode you’ll want to watch for seasonal content updates. The Weekly Ladders, Live Events, new card packs and collections will constantly offer something new - and often unexpected - throughout the year.
