Call Of Duty Warzone 2 "Supe'd Up" Resurgence Explained

Here is everything you need to know about the new Supe'd Up Resurgence mode in Warzone 2.
Call Of Duty Warzone 2 "Supe'd Up" Resurgence Explained

Call of Duty Warzone 2 has been out for nearly a year now and has undergone many different changes throughout its lifespan. We've seen the roll out of plenty of seasons, collaborations, and more. One of the most recent collaborations started during Season 4 Reloaded between Warzone 2 and Amazon's TV series, The Boys.

This collaboration was exciting because it brought brand new Operator skins for players to check out. On top of that, there were new Temp V Field Upgrades that will give players superpowers during their Warzone matches. However, times have changed and there is now a designated playlist to play with the new superpowers in Warzone 2.

What Is The Supe'd Up Resurgence Mode In Warzone 2?

Those who are playing Warzone 2 in Season 4 Reloaded can find new Temp V Field Upgrades that will essentially give you superpowers. You can jump really far, send out an electric shockwave, use laser vision, and even teleport. These powers are strong and some players complained that it made the game less balanced.

So to remedy this, players can now check out the new Supe'd Up Resurgence Mode to join matches with the superpowers enabled. This keeps the powerful new Temp V field upgrades in a contained section where players can freely use the powers as much as they want while preventing it from making an unbalanced game for those who want a standard match.

How Long Will The Supe'd Up Resurgence Mode Will Be In Warzone 2?

The new Temp V Field Upgrades were added in Season 4 Reloaded as part of the collaboration between The Boys and Warzone 2. Although the new Operator Skins are permanent, it is very unlikely that the new Temp V Field Upgrades will make it to Season 5. That's just due to the fact that they are very strong and it's doubtful that the developers will want to continue to balance around it.

If we had to make a guess, this new Supe'd Up game mode will only last until the start of Season 5. Once Season 5 hits, we can expect the Temp v Field Upgrades to go away until Activision decides to use them again. So, now is the time to play the new Supe'd Up Resurgence Mode. Warzone 2 Season 5 is set to begin on August 2, 2023.
