Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone Season 5 Tactical Pets Explained

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 are entering Season 5 of the game. With each and every season, more and more content is added for players to check out. For example, there are going to be a large number of new Operators that players can purchase and use in their matches, and new game modes.

On top of all of that, new Tactical pets are coming to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone. Here, we are going to explain what exactly the new Tactical Pets are in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone.

What Are The New Tactical Pets In Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2?

Throughout the history of Call of Duty, there have been army dogs that have been used in various ways. One of the most famous ways dogs have appeared in Call of Duty is as a Killstreak. Now, in Season 5 of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, dogs will be coming back as Tactical Pets that you can bring into DMZ, Battle Royale, and Multiplayer matches.

Tactical Pets are something that you can equip to join you in a Finishing Move. Once you land your finishing move, your Tactical Pet will join in to finish off your enemy. The Tactical Pets cannot be harmed in any way so there is no need for concern there. From what it looks like, the Tactical Pets will only appear once the finishing move has started.

When Are The Tactical Pets Coming To Modern Warfare 2 And Warzone 2?

Tactical Pets will be available at the start of Season 5, launching August. 2. So far, there is not a lot of information about the Tactical Pets that are coming to Season 5. All that we know is that a single dog named Merlin will be one of the Tactical Pets that you can equip for your online matches. You need to equip the Bark and Bite finisher move to use the Tactical Pets in your online matches. Merlin will be available as part of this season's BlackCell offerings.

Other than that, we do not really know what else is coming in terms of Tactical Pets. What we do know is that there is going to be more than one Tactical Pet. Players can expect more dogs to appear as Tactical Pets in the near future. There is also a chance for other animals to appear as Tactical Pets as well. We will update this once we know more.
