Call of Duty's annual Halloween event, The Haunting, comes jam-packed with spooky new tasks for players to complete across Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone. Whether that be destroying a UFO, slaughtering The Butcher, defeating a swamp monster, or attempting to trespass against the Pharaoh. Players certainly have a lot of bosses to destroy within this update.
Fortunately for you, the Pharaoh is likely the easiest boss to defeat within Warzone's Operation Nightmare, with some players managing to destroy the Pharaoh within five minutes. Nonetheless, the Pharaoh can prove a worthy opponent to new aggressors, hence why we've created this guide on how to defeat the Pharaoh within Operation Nightmare.
Where To Find The Pharaoh In Warzone: Operation Nightmare Location
The Pharaoh spawns within the same location every Warzone match, meaning most players are aware of the spawn. Despite this, the location isn't available immediately at the beginning of every match. The location of the Pharaoh is northwest of Rohan Oil. Players will find the Pharaoh symbol on the map showing the location they need to head; all players will see this making it a dangerous location.
When you're close to the Pharaoh's location, a jumpscare will be activated on all surrounding players' screens showing you've activated and entered the area. Continue into the Pharoah's tombs whilst keeping an eye out for enemy players. The tombs are very confined making it difficult to fight enemy squads — make sure your back is clear.
Once heading deep inside the tombs, you will encounter armored enemies marked with red and green heads. The objective is to kill and collect the red cursed skulls of the red-headed enemies, so ignore the green enemies.
Collect the red skulls and head forward. Take a right to the Pharaoh's coffin. To activate the Pharaoh, you need to place the eight red skulls into the coffin. You will need to keep defending yourself and your team from enemies whilst you complete this task. Continue to pick up the red skulls whilst you kill the enemies.
How To Defeat The Pharoah In Warzone Operation Nightmare
Once the Pharoah has finished summoning, begin attacking him with everything you have available. Whilst fighting the Pharoah, green enemies will spawn and try to destroy you, but simply take them out accordingly. For this specific boss battle, we recommend using grenades and a shotgun as you're playing in quite a confined space.
Whilst fighting the Pharoah, he will attempt to run away after taking a significant amount of damage. Follow him around and attempt to finish him off. However, if you end up losing the Pharoah, look for the red icon above his head and you'll find him there. The Pharoah will be unable to leave the tombs making it a relatively easy chase.
The Pharoah attempts to kill players by performing a finishing move on them, forcing him to get close and personal with the players. It's highly recommended that you keep some distance between you and the Pharaoh, otherwise he'll make light work of you.
After defeating the Pharaoh and completing the boss fight, collect the loot around the location and move on to the next boss battle.
