When Does Warframe Nightwave Volume 7 Start?

Like most live-service and MMO titles, Warframe hosts a plethora of limited-time events every year. Nightwave is arguably the most important of them all, lasting not just for days or weeks but months. 

Nightwave is the closest thing you can get to something like a battle pass in Warframe, as it adds new challenges and rewards for you to pursue. The one caveat to Nightwaves in Warframe is that its end date is not announced ahead of launch and sometimes concludes on just a two-week notice period. Here's everything we know about the next Nightwave in Warframe.

When Does the Next Nightwave Start in Warframe?

The current Nightwave at the time of writing is Nora’s Mix Volume 6, which started on Wednesday May 15th, 2024. Digital Extremes has yet to indicate when this Nightwave will end.

However, it doesn't take a genius to work out that based on the past four Nightwave releases, the game appears to have settled into a pattern of releasing a new Nightwave every May and November.

For now we can only speculate, however, we suspect we're going to see the next Nightwave (Nora's Mix Volume 7) at some point around 20th November 2024.

What is the Current Nightwave in Warframe?

As mentioned above, the current Nightwave in Warframe is Nora's Mix Vol 6. Nora's Mix Vol 6 adds a bunch of sweet rewards like the Cedo Daybreak Skin and the Daybreak Kavat Gene-Masking Kit. Whether you're a new player or a veteran, the Nightwave will be your primary source for new mods, resources, cosmetics, and Warframes.

Like previous editions of Nightwave, it includes duplicate protection for rewards you have already unlocked. Identical to Nora’s Mix Vol. 5, Tenno can expect to be compensated with Nora’s Mix Vol. 6 Creds instead of the previous unlocked reward.

How Long Does a Nightwave Last in Warframe?

The Nightwave events in Warframe could last up to 6-9 months if not more. While it primarily functions like the season/season pass of other live-service titles, it's more confusing than those. On the table below you can see how much time has passed between each previous Nightwave in Warframe

Are Nightwave Events Free in Warframe

Yes, the Nightwave events are completely free, and you can claim all the rewards in it without paying a single penny. Unlike season passes in other games, there are no free or premium tiers in Warframe's Nightwave. To unlock all the Nightwave rewards, you have to climb up the Ranks and gain Nora credits by completing daily and weekly missions.
