Wayward Strand’s narrative is set a couple of decades ago, in 1978, and it revolves around Casey, a fourteen-year-old journalist whom you play in the game. 

Casey boards an airship functioning as a hospital ward to join her mother, a nurse caring for the patients within the floating medical clinic.

While her mother works, Casey decides to go on an investigative journey to know more about the patients of Wayward Strand. 

In her journey, Casey uncovers stories from older people, and witnesses the everyday lives of care workers, while also learning about a few secrets hidden within the clinic.

Wayward Strand features explorative gameplay, allowing you to roam around the airship. As Casey, you’ll interact with all kinds of people and even have the choice to follow staff to patients or rooms, or ask questions through the game’s interactive story.
