Shredding will never die, but The Birdman lives on as the "next-gen remake" of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 was announced by the legendary skateboarder, Tony Hawk. Following weeks of teases and a countdown to the remaster's announcement, players can grind the halfpipes and bowls as Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 heads to consoles and PCs on 11th July 2025.

An official reveal trailer accompanied the announcement, which showcased new and revamped maps and tricks, a banger new soundtrack, new skater pros joining the roster, and new gameplay features. If the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater brand and the trailer enticed players already, pre-orders have gone live for consoles and PCs, and players can choose their preferred game edition to add to their Library at launch.

Sound the neighborhood as Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 will launch for PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S consoles, with pre-ordering now available via the official THPS website. The game remake boasts the game's original roster of professional skaters and new pros alongside new and returning parks, which "'have been authentically remade in jaw-dropping 4K resolution with streamlined goals in a two-minute format."

According to the official announcement, "everything" we "love" about THPS "is back and rebuilt from the ground up," which includes "a robust Career mode taking on challenges across two tours, chase high scores in Single Sessions and Speedruns, or chill out and dig into the map in Free Skate." Additionally, players can perform tricks, grind halfpipes, or skate and chill with their friends in a multiplayer lobby, which can host up to eight players "at a time," which its online multiplayer mode supports cross-platform play.

At launch, THPS will also include New Game Plus (NG+), allowing players to "retain the stats" earned in their playthrough and giving them plenty of opportunities to better their skills "across every park in the game." And speaking of skills, players can explore an in-game tutorial led by the Birdman, Tony Hawk, to get players off on a flying start "with lessons on the all-important Ollie, kickflips, vert tricks, grinds, reverts, manuals, special tricks and everything you need to become a high score skater, all while rocking out to songs from the original soundtrack and new music."

As mentioned before, pre-orders went live recently, and for selected platforms, players will gain access to the Foundry demo, which becomes available in June 2025. This demo features two unique parks, playable pro skaters, and a curated playlist of banger tracks which this demo is only available for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S consoles regardless of what game edition they pre-ordered.
