Tokyo Tekken Masters and FIGHT CARD live show commence this week

The next stop on the Tekken World Tour will see contenders battle it out in Japan as Tokyo Tekken Masters will be taking place this 26-27th October weekend, with the potential for additional Tekken 7 Season three news to be revealed during this event.

Participants will be competing for the the first place trophy and the $5,500 top prize as well as the chance to be one of 20 players invited to the Tekken World Tour Finals in Bangkok, Thailand on 8th December.

While entry is free for Tokyo Tekken Masters, Japan's strict gambling laws have had an impact on prize pool winnings for esports competitions and the Japan Esports Pro Licenses see a maximum of 100,000 JPY ($920 / £714) being able to be awarded those without the license.

GINX is launching FIGHT CARD tonight (24th October) that will see Samad “Damascus” Abdessadki hosting weekly FGC broadcasts. This week, he will be joined by Hassan "SpaghettiRIP" Farooq to help cast the action.

Tekken will be the first game featured as Vincent "Super Akouma" Homan and Shimon "Tissuemon" Kawai battle live on ginx.tv via this link. Members of the community watching the stream will have the chance to fight against them from 8pm UK time.

Powered by Thrustmaster, there will also be an eSwap controller giveaway every week for one lucky FIGHT CARD viewer.

If you miss this episode, next week will see a different fighting game take the spotlight with new guests but there will be another controller giveaway and plenty of reasons to tune in.

The VODs from each broadcast will be uploaded following the release of the edited highlight shows on the linear channel from November 11th.
