There are only three things certain in this world: Death, taxes, and Steam sale dates leaking.
For the past several years, Steam sale dates have leaked ahead of time, and now we know when the Steam Summer Sale will begin for this year.
There's also a possible Steam rewards/loyalty program in the works.
The Steam Summer Sale dates
The Steam Summer Sale (winter in the UK) will kick off on 25th June, and it will run until 9th July 2020.
These Steam Summer Sale dates come from Pavel Djundik who first said he got the information from Chinese sources, after saying it is now confirmed.
Pavel Djundik is one of the minds behind SteamDB, and generally provides very accurate information when it comes to leaks such as this one.
PC gamers have well over a month to prepare their wallets for what is sure to be yet another fantastic Steam sale, with thousands of excellent deals to throw your wallet at.
Steam Rewards
Valve might also be working on a Steam Loyalty/Rewards feature, which could very well launch with the Steam Summer Sale.
According to Pavel Djundik, Valve is working on a rewards program, which will grant Steam users digital items, badges, and possibly even discounts on game purchases.

Valve could possibly enable a wider range of reactions to user reviews on Steam as well.
As always, take leaks with a grain of salt until such time as Valve officially launches the Steam Summer Sale, as well as the Loyalty/Rewards program.
