In recent years there has been a great debate about whether esports should be considered a sport, something that has reached the discussion tables of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). However, one of the regions that has made the most progress in this is Asia.
In previous years there were the cases of the 2018 Asian Games where esports like League of Legends and StarCraft II were part of these as an exhibition sport, and the SEA Games that in 2019 became the first sports summit supervised by the IOC to receive esports as an official discipline within its medal table.
Now, the full list of esports titles for SEA Games 2021 has been announced and it features a big mobile presence.
