The online multiplayer party game Stumble Guys will bring the party and even more epic stumbles as it's coming to Nintendo Switch consoles this year. This was revealed in a brand new trailer on their official YouTube channel, with an official release date slated for this month.
Following its launch on mobile devices, Stumble Guys has rolled out onto other platforms, starting with Xbox consoles in January 2024 and then heading to PlayStation in May 2024. Nintendo Switch is the final console platform release, and pre-orders are made available through the Nintendo eShop with a few goodies to bag!
The latest trailer for the online multiplayer party game Stumble Guys confirmed that it will launch for Nintendo Switch consoles on 20th August 2024. Alongside the game's release, a Founder's Pack includes a variety of freebies, including the Oh Yeah Victory Animation, the Hi Sp33d P0rtia skin, and 2,000 Gems, its in-game currency.
To prepare for the Nintendo Switch launch, Switch owners are encouraged to pre-register on the official site, which awards them with some rewards to be claimed from the in-game Shop. These rewards include the Punch Emote, Pow Footsteps, and Karat Krusher Animation, but the developer noted that players can still claim these rewards even if they haven't pre-registered.
The official Stumble Guys FAQ page states that the game doesn't require a Nintendo Switch Online subscription as it's a "free-to-play" game. However, to back up their game data, a Switch Online subscription may be required to utilize its Save Data Cloud backup feature.
At launch, the game will support crossplay; however, cross-progression won't be available yet. The developer revealed that split-screen, another feature coming soon to consoles, is expected to be released in September 2024, and we'll update this news article with more information.
