Splitgate 2's Closed Alpha Starts Today, Plus A New Trailer

Splitgate 2's closed alpha starts today, developers 1047 Games announced on the game's official X/Twitter account. The closed alpha will last from 21 August until 25 August, and fans can sign up to try it out through the game's Steam page. All you'll need to do is click the 'Request Access' button, and then wait to hear via email if you're approved.

Anyone can sign up to be considered for the closed alpha, and applications are still open and being accepted after the alpha's kickoff.

Splitgate 2 is a new project from the developers and creators of the highly successful Splitgate. Splitgate 2 builds on the fundamentals of its predecessor, but introduces new visuals, characters, and factions. A new faction trailer earlier this month delved deeper into that lattermost mechanic, showing each new alignment players can choose from.

Splitgate 2 is set to release sometime in 2025, though no specific release date has been confirmed.
