Puny Astronaut has announced the release date for their cozy and accessible puzzle game Skye Tales, and it will be hitting Nintendo Switch on May 26. This is a debut title for the publishers, and in the game, you will be able to take the role of Skye, the friendly dragon, to help others by completing low-stress puzzles and gliding through rich, reactive playgrounds.
The world of Skye Tales is pretty colorful, with vibrant colors, delightful sounds, and charming characters to get you immersed in the game for hours. The main motive of the game is to help players slow down and relax in its world, away from all the stresses of life and all the grind required to progress in other games.
Skye Tales also features multiple modes, instruments, and tactile toys that you can play with, and not only this, you will also be able to collect gorgeous outfits for your character on the way. The game is color-blind friendly and features visual filters to accommodate those with various visuals, which makes it even more accessible for everyone.
“At Puny Astronaut we believe that games should be approachable for everyone; from people who may have never played games before, to those with different gameplay needs. We designed Skye Tales to be an alternative to the many demanding and draining gameplay experiences already available," said Cian Roche, the Puny Astronaut Managing Director. "There is no wrong way to play Skye Tales - it’s just happy you stopped by. If you want to spend your time simply dashing through dandelions or splashing in the sea, you’re welcome to do so.”
Skye Tales is available to pre-order from the Nintendo eShop, and if you want to try the game out first, you can play its free demo to get a first peek into its magical world. In the meantime, you can have a look at its trailer below.
