Pac-Man Museum + – Release date, gameplay, features, and more

Bandai Namco is doing it again with another video game release of the Pac-Man Museum +. This latest Pac-Man collection is coming soon to console as it features some of the greatest games from the Pac-Man gaming series.

Pac-Man Museum + will bring 14 games to the next generation of consoles. This collection helps preserve and pass along the history of Pac-Man as a showcase of the best games while getting a few new features.

Pac-Man Museum + – Release date and trailer

Pac-Man Museum+ is confirmed for a worldwide release on 27th May 2022. The platformer collection will be available on PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Series X and S, Nintendo Switch and PC.

The games found in the collection start with the original Pac-Man from 1980 and feature the best games from the Pac-Man series until 2015.

Pac-Man Museum + – Gameplay and features

Pac-Man is originally a maze action game in a 2D format, and most of the Pac-Man games remain similar to the original, but a few play differently. Some of the games in the Museum+ collection are 3D mazes, while others are side-scrollers like a Mario game.

The game Pac-Attack is a falling tile game, and Pac-Man Battle Royale is a multiplier maze game. There's a Pac-Man game for everyone in the family.

The game will have an Arcade hub where the games are located, and players can display trophies, achievements, and high scores. The game will feature worldwide scoreboards so players can compete against all other Pac-Man players across the world.

Players will be able to customise their Pac-Man maps and share them online with others. Unlocking various customisation options can be achieved by playing through the missions available on the 14 games featured in this collection, including cabinets, wallpapers, and a jukebox.
