The next generation of Nintendo Sports is nearly upon us and the excitement from prospective players continues to build. Harkening back to the legendary Wii Sports release back in 2006, the upcoming Nintendo Switch rework is sure to bring back feelings of nostalgia.

Nintendo Switch Sports release date
Nintendo Switch Sports was revealed on a massive stage when the game developers announced the upcoming title at the February 2022 Nintendo Direct. The creators also stated that Nintendo Switch Sports is slated to release on 29th April 2022.

Nintendo Switch Sports - All sports
As mentioned, Nintendo Switch Sports sees the integration of classic Wii Sports games, as well as some new sports to try out. In total, Nintendo Switch Sports offers six different sports, with a future update set to add another awesome game.

Fans of the legendary Wii Sports titles will be familiar with Nintendo Bowling, Tennis, and Chambara, as they are returning sports. Badminton, Soccer, and Volleyball are set to debut and the early looks suggest fun and user-friendly gameplay.
Multiplayer was revealed to be available in both local and online settings. The online multiplayer provides the option for matchmaking with either friends or random opponents.
In addition to these six games, the announcement trailer from Nintendo revealed that Golf will be coming to Nintendo Switch Sports in the Fall of 2022. It's noted that an additional software update will be required when the Golf patch is made available.
