Along with upgrading weapons, you’ll also have to fork out materials to boost your armour if you want to succeed in Monster Hunter Rise.
One of the key materials you’ll need to do so is Warm Pelt, which is also one of the requirements in order to set up small base camps in the Frost Islands.
So where can you find Warm Pelt? Here’s what you need to know.

You’ll find Warm Pelt in the Frost Islands region of Monster Hunter Rise, which is unlocked once you progress to two star level village quests. You can find the item while in the middle of doing a normal quest, but it’s recommended to just venture out on an Expedition Tour to gather what you need and swiftly retreat.
In the Frost Islands, you’ll need to track down the Anteka monster. They’re shown above and can be encountered on a path directly west of the base camp. Just watch out for any slightly more intimidating monsters who may get caught up in the scuffle.

You can generally find Anteka roaming around areas 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 9 on the map, which is basically all the places not covered in water. Take down a few and you’ll have a wealth of Warm Pelt to upgrade your armour and increase your defences.
Monster Hunter Rise is available on Nintendo Switch.
