Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will release on 14th May, a new trailer has confirmed.
The remastered package brings together all three games in the series (excluding Andromeda), along with story and character DLC add-ons.
Mass Effect: Legendary Edition releases on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One, with backwards compatibility on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The fundamental change in the package is the first Mass Effect, which has received a visual overhaul comparable to the other two titles. There’s some other notable additions however, including expanded character creation options, 4K resolution, more detailed environments.
This isn’t the only Mass Effect project in the pipeline, with an entirely new instalment in the franchise in the works - although after Andromeda, excitement is hesitant to say the least.
If you haven’t ever played Mass Effect however, this is an essential experience - boasting some of the most memorable characters in gaming wrapped in a compelling, interactive story.
This also lines up Mass Effect: Legendary Edition to release around the same period as Resident Evil Village, so it looks set to be a busy month.
