Little Lighthouse of Horror Is A Unique 2D Psychological Horror Based On A True Story

Level Up Games Studio, in partnership with Troglobytes Games, is preparing to launch Little Lighthouse of Horror, a 2D, pixel art psychological horror experience. The game will be available on Steam starting January 28th, 2025. Little Lighthouse of Horror, which takes inspiration from the eerie true story of the Flannan Isles lighthouse mystery, challenges players to confront both external and internal horrors as they take on the role of Lawrence, a lighthouse keeper who must manage both his isolation and his sanity.

In fact, a central feature of the game is its sanity system, which tracks Lawrence’s mental state as he faces increasingly strange and unsettling events. The game challenges players to not only manage Lawrence's declining mental state, but also keep up with physical resources like food, oil, and spare parts.

Every decision you make when it comes to managing these factors impacts your progress. With multiple possible endings based on player choices, Little Lighthouse of Horror promises a short yet replayable experience, where each playthrough offers a different outcome.
