One key aspect that was revealed is that players anticipating catching up with Max can play the game, but how? We've spilled the beans in this guide on how exactly players can access the base game of Life Is Strange: Double Exposure early.

Life Is Strange: Double Exposure: How To Play The Game Early?

In case players missed how exactly they could play Double Exposure early, developer Deck Nine Games revealed during the Reveal Livestream that they are to pre-order the game's Digital Ultimate Edition. Regardless of which platform they've pre-ordered this game edition for, they'll be able to play through the first two chapters of Double Exposure two weeks early.

The game will launch for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Windows Store on 29th October 2024, which means players can play it as early as 15th October 2024. All available game editions (Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate) will include the base game along with unique content exclusive for each edition, for which the early access to the game's first two chapters is part of the Digital Ultimate Edition.

Pre-ordering the Digital Ultimate Edition, which is not available for Nintendo Switch, also awards five unique outfit packs, including one inspired by Final Fantasy VII, and exclusive cat content featuring a "task" that tasks Max with reuniting a lost cat with its owner. Players can now pre-order the Digital Ultimate Edition from the Square Enix Store or from the abovementioned digital storefronts ahead of the game's global release on 29th October 2024 and play the first two chapters early.
