Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator is an upcoming hotel simulation game developed by Ringzero Game Studio and published together by Nacon and Bigben Interactive. Hotel Life will have players build, design, develop and manage their own hotel, which is situated in an idyllic tropical location. In addition, players will craft unique experiences for their guests by managing all aspects of the resort, from check-through to entertainment and check-out.
Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator - Release date
Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator was initially slated for release on the 26th of August 2021 but its launch has been pushed back to the 27th of January 2022. Hotel Life will be available for digital download, however, there is not currently any indication on what the retail price for the game will be.
The game is expected to release across all major gameplay platforms, including PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 5 and on Xbox One.
Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator - Gameplay
The publishers note that players will be challenged by providing unforgettable memories for their guests, whilst managing all operations of the hotel and trying to grow the business. The game will also offer the perfect escape for those feeling trapped by lockdown or travel restrictions by allowing players to enjoy their stay and play as guests in "Wait mode".
Anyone familiar with simulation games like Two Point Campus, Sim City or Two Point Hospital should know exactly what to expect. In case you're not familiar, Hotel Life boasts the following features, as indicated on the Steam Store page.
Build your own hotel
Players can select the ideal location for their hotel. Once a location has been selected, they can build all the facilities required, including reception, restaurant, pool, bungalows, all of which are fully customizable.
Players will also be able to fully furnish and decorate spaces both inside and outside of the hotel, using various colours and materials (such as concrete, wood, plaster or stone).
Customer service
Players must see to all aspects of their guests stay, from check-in to check-out. This includes tasks like picking up guests from the airport, cleaning, tidying, food and even entertainment.
Players will do this until they are able to hire staff to manage these jobs for them. Guests will also leave online reviews so players must ensure they have a pleasant experience. The happier your guests, the better the online reviews will be.
Entrepreneur
As a manager, players will have to balance several responsibilities, including the recruitment of staff, organising tasks, managing reservations, creating menus, and also seeing to the hotel's profitability.
Hotel Life will put each player's entrepreneurial and managerial skills to the test. Once players installed basic facilities, they will be able to expand and upgrade the resort according to their budget. This may include buying a larger pool, a sauna, a DJ stage or new sports equipment.
Multiple game modes
- Sandbox mode - This mode allows players to choose to manage an existing hotel or build one completely from scratch.
- Wait mode - This mode allows players to play as a guest and enjoy a mini-holiday, whilst being able to admire their hard work.
- Career mode - Players will take part in a story which sees them manage a little family-owned hotel.
Unfortunately, there are no details regarding PC system requirements for Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator at the time of writing.
Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator is expected to release on the 27th of January 2022 on the PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 5 and Xbox One gameplay platforms.
