A Resetera user recently discovered that Hollow Knight: Silksong has been rated in South Korea, sparking excitement among fans who have been patiently awaiting a release date announcement. The game's classification for players aged 12 and over was initially posted in February but was only recently brought to light.

Moreover, Microsoft has updated the game’s page on the Xbox store this week, allowing players to wishlist the game, further fueling anticipation among fans. With both of these developments now garnering attention, many believe that a release date announcement or at least significant news regarding the game's progress is imminent.

At the time of the game’s updated listing on the Xbox store, Sarah Bond, the Xbox president, took the opportunity to emphasize that Hollow Knight: Silksong will be available on day one on Xbox Game Pass upon its launch. This indicates that the game's release is a priority for distributors like Xbox.

Although the Developer Team Cherry postponed the release of Hollow Knight: Silksong last year, originally slated for the first half of 2023, citing the need for additional development time, it is widely speculated that enough time has passed for the sequel to launch sometime this year across various platforms, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
