Grab two free games on the Epic Games Store now

Another week brings another batch of free games from the Epic Games Store which PC gamers can take full advantage of. The latest free games are Enter the Gungeon and God's Trigger. Here's what you need to know.

Free games on Epic Games Store

You have until 27th August to pick up the latest free games from the Epic Games Store. If you claim them in time, they will be yours to keep, and play at your leisure or at least until the inevitable robot uprising occurs.

All you need to do is register for a free Epic Games Store account (if you don't have one already), and proceed to the links below.

• Enter the Gungeon
• God's Trigger

While Enter the Gungeon released in 2016, the second freebie, God's Trigger, in 2018, and just made it to the Epic Games Store on 20th August 2020. 

What is Enter the Gungeon?

Enter the Gungeon is a bullet hell dungeon crawler following a band of misfits seeking to shoot, loot, dodge roll and table-flip their way to personal absolution by reaching the legendary Gungeon’s ultimate treasure: the gun that can kill the past.

Select a hero (or team up in co-op) and battle your way to the bottom of the Gungeon by surviving a challenging and evolving series of floors filled with the dangerously adorable Gundead and fearsome Gungeon bosses armed to the teeth.

Gather precious loot, discover hidden secrets, and chat with opportunistic merchants and shopkeepers to purchase powerful items to gain an edge.

What is God's Trigger?

God’s Trigger is a power fantasy where you dispatch enemies with speed and precision in a ballet of blood and explosions. Burst through a room in seconds killing with one of the many weapons, freely selectable special abilities, environmental hazards, and melee attacks.

Make split-second decisions, dodge bullets and inflict violence in a highly stylized, fast-paced bloodbath. Each character brings their own unique powers. With a treasure trove of weapons and customizable special abilities you have the means to annihilate your enemies in just the way you like.

Switch freely between Harry and Judy, the Angel and the Demon, at any moment in solo mode, or grab a friend and work together in co-op for even greater bloodshed!
